The marketing and sales teams at Cargill Protein were working to develop a custom line of limited-time, premium entrees to feature during the upcoming holiday season. The packaging had to do a lot of heavy lifting by capturing the attention of busy shoppers looking for holiday meal inspiration. Because several details were still being sorted out, Mackey chose to start this project with a series of look and feel mood boards. After nailing down a color palette, textures, fonts and just the right amount of holiday flare, Mackey got to work on designing the sleeves. With gorgeous photography and premium accents, every small detail came together to create stopping power on shelf.
